Life After Death

Life After Death
The older brother of the main character, schoolboy Daniel, died in a car accident. The boy deeply mourns the tragedy and blames his parents for not paying enough attention to his brother’s memory. Meanwhile, Daniel’s classmates are preparing for the annual Day of Remembrance for the Fallen Soldiers of Israel and Victims of Terrorism: children whose families lost relatives in military conflicts will give speeches at the solemn ceremony about their loved ones. Daniel asks his teacher for permission to participate as well, even though his brother was not a war hero. The film by Yinnon Weil was a finalist at the Moscow International Children’s Film Festival in the category of «Best Short Student Film» (2022).
