About the Sacramento Jewish Film Festival

The Sacramento Jewish Film Festival, a program of the Jewish Federation of the Sacramento Region, has presented the best films related to Jews and Judaism since 1997.  We are thrilled to be partnering with the Crocker Art Museum. Some of our films will complement the exhibit on German Expressionist Art to be held from February 5 to May 7, 2023. This year, we will again be hybrid, all the films will be streaming virtually and some of the films will be presented in person at the Tower Theater and the Crocker Art Museum Auditorium.  This year’s festival includes 27 feature films, 10 free short films, and a number of live and recorded events.

Our festival promises to amuse, entertain, inspire, educate, and provide opportunities to share this experience together. We will offer a wide variety of films and related experiences: comedies,  dramas, documentaries, and live Zoom chats with filmmakers. We will be presenting films from all over the world, including Israel, Canada, Germany, the UK, France, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, Australia, Belgium, the Netherlands, and the USA.

Ticket sales cover less than half of the cost of our film festival. Please support Jewish films in Sacramento by becoming a sponsor. The Jewish Federation is a 501(c)(3) organization and donations may be tax-deductible, pursuant to federal and state law and regulations. Our Tax ID is 94-1156558.
