About the Sacramento Jewish Film Festival

The Sacramento Jewish Film Festival, a program of the Jewish Federation of the Sacramento Region, has presented the best films related to Jews and Judaism since 1997.  This year, we will again be hybrid: some films will be live only, some streaming only, and some available both live and streaming.  This year’s festival will include both feature films, free short films, and a number of live and recorded events.

Our festival promises to amuse, entertain, inspire, educate, and provide opportunities to share this experience together. We will offer a wide variety of films and related experiences: comedies,  dramas, documentaries, and live Zoom chats with filmmakers. We will be presenting films from all over the world.

Ticket sales cover less than half of the cost of our film festival. Please support Jewish films in Sacramento by becoming a sponsor. The Jewish Federation is a 501(c)(3) organization and donations may be tax-deductible, pursuant to federal and state law and regulations. Our Tax ID is 94-1156558.

The Jewish Federation of the Sacramento Region is a philanthropic organization that provides educational, cultural, and social services programs to the Jewish community locally and around the world. The Federation movement protects and enhances the well-being of Jews worldwide through the values of “tikkun olam” (repairing the world) and “tzedakah” (charity and social justice).
