These instructions are only valid if you have had the ELEVENT App installed on one of your Amazon Firestick/cube devices prior to Oct. 2023. Since Oct. 2023 the ELEVENT App has been discontinued from the Amazon App store.

Step 1: Open your Amazon Fire application on your TV.
Step 1a: Search for “Elevent” Using the Find then Search buttons.
Step 1b: Once located, select, download and install the free Elevent TV app.
Step 2: Find your ‘Portal Invitation email’. After purchasing a festival pass you will receive a “Portal Invitation’ email. Click the “Join” button on this email. This will take you to the Sacramento Jewish Film Festival Portal. Make sure to bookmark this portal page in your browser, as you will be returning often.
Step 3: Open the Elevent TV app on your Amazon FireStick. If not already open, open the Elevent TV app on your TV. On In the app, select “Pass Holders LINK THIS DEVICE”.
A code should appear on your TV.
Step 4: Pairing your festival Portal with your Amazon Fire device.
On your computer or mobile device open the Sacramento Jewish Film Festival Portal (see Step 2), select the cog-shaped icon in the upper right-hand corner of the portal page, then select “Watch on my TV”.
A box asking you for the code from your Amazon Fire device will appear. Put in the pairing code (from your TV) in this textbox and then select “submit”.
Now you will be able to access all the festival films from your Amazon Fire device!

Step 3: Open the Elevent TV app on your Amazon FireStick. If not already open, open the Elevent TV app on your TV. On In the app, select “Ticket Holders ENTER CODE”.
A Voucher Code Request will appear on your TV.
Step 4: Input the film’s 9-digit voucher code on the Elevent App: The app will prompt you for a 9-digit voucher code. Input the 9-digit voucher code and the film will automatically be available to view. Each film will have a unique voucher code.

Step 1: Find Elevent Portal Invitation email. After purchasing a festival pass you will receive a “Portal Invitation” email.
Click the “Join” button in this email. This will take you to the Sacramento Jewish Film Festival Portal.
Step 2: Select Film to Watch. Once in the portal, you will see the films that are currently available to view. Click on the film you would like to watch.
Step 3: Cast film to TV. Click the Chrome Settings Menu button on the top right-hand corner of your screen as shown in the image below.
Select “Cast” and choose your casting device from the cast tab. The film will cast to your TV.

Step 1: Access the festival webpage from the Chrome browser on your mobile device.
Step 2: Select and purchase the film you would like to watch.
Step 3: Click the “View” button on the Order Confirmation page. If the film is not yet available, you will receive an email when the film is available which will contain a similar “view” link. Press that button to view the film.
Step 4: Once you have clicked “View”, the film will automatically appear in your browser. Next, click the Chrome Settings Menu button on the top right-hand corner of your screen as shown in the picture below.
Step 5: Select “Cast” and choose your casting device from the cast tab. The film will then cast to your TV.
STEP 1: Locate an HDMI cable. If you have one, it will look like the cable pictured below. If you don’t have one, you will need to buy one.
STEP 2: Prepare your computer by connecting to the SJFF website.
STEP 3: Locate your HDMI ports on both your computer and TV
STEP 4: Attach one end of the HDMI cable to your computer or laptop. If you have a laptop, the HDMI port will most likely be on the side or back of your computer. If you have a desktop computer, the HDMI port will most likely be on the back of your computer tower.
STEP 5: Plug the other end of the HDMI cable into your TV. It will fit into the HDMI port (typically on the back or the side of your TV). If your TV has more than one HDMI jack, note the number of the jack which one you are attaching to (e.g. HDMI 1 or HDMI 2).
STEP 6: Click on the input button on your remote.
The button on your remote will either say “input” or it will be a button with this symbol
Step 7: The Input button will bring up the Input menu on your TV – when the input menu comes up use the remote’s arrows to navigate to the proper input option you plugged the cable into in Step 4 (HDMI 1 or HDMI 2, etc.).
This might be labeled “HDMI 1” or “HDMI 2”. The proper option varies from TV to TV and is probably easiest to tell when your computer is on.
Step 8: Once the proper input has been selected on your TV, your TV should mirror the same images/films as(show the same thing as) your computer. From here you will be able to watch all the festival films.

Once located, select, and download the free Elevent TV app.

This applies to connecting a computer to television if your television is old and does not have an HDMI jack. You can use this method if both your TV and your computer have VGA ports.
STEP 1: Locate a VGA cable. If you have one, it will look like the cable pictured below. If you don’t have one, you will need to buy one.
STEP 2: Locate your VGA ports on both your computer and TV (see image below)
These can be located anywhere on your laptop, computer, or TV. This will most likely be located on the back of your computer.
STEP 3: Attach one end of the VGA cable to your computer
STEP 4: Plug the other end of the VGA cable into your TV. It will fit into the VGA port (typically on the back or the side of your TV).
STEP 5: Click on the input button on your remote.
The button on your remote will either say “input” or it will be a button with this symbol
Step 6: The Input button will bring up the Input menu. – when the input menu comes up u Use the remote’s arrows to navigate to the proper input option. This may be labeled “VGA” but might be labeled “Input 1” or “Input 2”. The proper option varies from TV to TV and is probably easiest to tell when your computer is on.
Yes you can. but you have to use the Amazon “SILK” Browser to access our film festival site and then select the Blue “Watch Films” button to launch the ELEVENT Films Portal.
ELEVENT no longer has an App on the Amazon Fire Stick/Cube Play Store.
However, there is a work-around. Your Fire stick has a browser built in to it called SILK. Open the Silk browser And type in our Jewish film festival website. sacjewishfilmfest.org. On the Silk browser you should select the “Request desktop sites” option by clicking on the Icon on the upper right that looks like an old fashioned TV Set. ( it changes to a PC looking Icon when in the desktop mode.)
Now move your cursor to the Blue “Watch Films Button and select it. That will open the ELEVENT Film Portal. On the right side of the screen you can enter your Email address/Username And your Password, then select the “Log In” Button. That should open up the film player page. If you do not see anything on the screen after a few seconds, check and see that Request Desktop Sites is enabled. That should give allow you to see the films page.
